It has been announced that Matsumura Hokuto will have a role in the summer drama series Kuro no Onna Kyoshi, which stars actress Eikura Nana and will air on TBS starting in July on Friday nights.

I am excited for Hokuto. I have been following him since he started showing up as a Junior and even then it seemed like there would be big things in store for him. So being in the regular cast of a Golden Time drama is a real big step for him, especially coming off of Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou.
Of course with this news it means four out of the six of the Bakaleya6 have roles in summer dramas now, with Morimoto Shintaro in GTO and Lewis Jesse and Tanaka Juri in Sprout. Only Kyomoto Taiga and Kouchi Yuugo remain without something new, outside of the Bakaleya movie of course. It would be nice for the two to have a drama role as well for the summer season, even if it is just a guest role. But even then I am overall surprised that so many of them have roles for the next drama season. So if they do not get a role than I will be fine as they have a movie and there will be other seasons. I am sure Johnny's is not done with giving pushes to all the boys in this grouping yet.
Though I do wish they would make them an official group. According to the filming reports for July's Shounen Club episodes they are performing together a few times and with the Bakaleya movie I do not think Johnny's will be splitting them up anytime soon for promotional purposes. And they could become the next Junior super group, like KAT-TUN and Kis-My-Ft2, if they do become a group and continue to get this kind of work for the years up to their debut.
That and I guess I would love to have a better name for them than the Bakaleya6, though with Johnny's I guess it would be a 50/50 chance of the official group name actually being better. But at least with their last names starting with, M, M, K, K, T and L the chances of their name being spelled with those are slim to none.
