I am not surprised that only certain members get solo songs for the album, but I honestly thought it would be all of Kift and not just Fujigaya and Kitayama.
I am glad that S-My-2 get a song for themselves and do not mind that Kift gets one together as well. And Kisumai has always been Kitayama and Fujigaya heavy with them being the main vocals so not surprised that they get their own solo songs. I find it more interesting who is singing with Tamamori for Sing For You. As while Senga makes sense as he was the other member of the group that got a decent amount of lines in the group's Junior songs. Miyata comes off as a bit of an odd choice unless he really did get a good upswing in popularity from the Ikemen Desu Ne musical. Of course I am not going to complain too much as more of S-My-2 with post-debut Kisumai is a good thing.
While I would have loved everyone to have gotten a solo I do not think the song distribution is too bad and hopefully the album tracks will be more balanced than the singles have been.
I think,I will buy the album but to be honest, well I like their new style of music since debut , but I´m not THAT much a fan of their music and seeing how their songs since debut sounded like, they were all so similar. I hope the album will show us different sides too , though.
ReplyDeleteBut anyway, I´m still excited about their album release. I hope it will sell well.
Well I find with albums there is a greater chance for variety than with singles.
ReplyDeleteI feel like it will sell well. The single before though probably won't do nearly as well as the two before.
